Canoeing
The fishing season on the Kenai River starts at the end of May with the King Salmon (Chinook) run until the end of July. The largest King Salmon in the world spond in our neighborhood at Slikok Creek.
Red Salmon (Sockeye) start migrating mid June (first run), with the second run usually starting mid July, and stay in large numbers in the lower Kenai River, easy to catch from our private banks.
Silver Salmon (Coho) usually runs mid August and put on incredible fights. The second Silver Salmon run starts at the beginning of September, and can also be caught from our private docks.
Rainbow Trout can be caught thru out the entire fishing season on the Kenai River.

Fischsaison am Kenai River beginnt Ende May mit dem Koengislachs (Chinook) bis Ende Juli. Der weltgroesste Koenigslachs laicht in der Nachbarschaft am Slikok Creek ab.
Der erste Rotlachslauf (Sockeye)) ist gewoehnlich Mitte Juni, mit dem zweiten Rotlachslauf Mitte Juli, wovon eine grosse Anzahl am unteren Kenai River bleibt und leicht vom eigenen Flussufer aus gefangen werden koennen.
Silberlachse (Coho) – der erste Lauf – ist um Mitte August und sehr beliebt unter den Fliegenfischern. Der zweite Silberlachslauf beginnt meist Mitte September, dieser kann auch von den eigenen Stegen aus gefangen werden.
Regenbogenforellen kann man waehrend der gesamten Fischsaison am Kenai River fangen.
